Our cardiology service covers the full spectrum of heart conditions — from chest pain, palpitations and breathlessness to atrial fibrillation, heart failure, valve disease and inherited cardiac conditions. You get a thorough assessment, a clear explanation of what is causing your symptoms, and a treatment plan in plain English.

What a cardiology appointment covers.
Assessment first — the tests that follow are chosen for your symptoms, and the fee for each is confirmed before you go ahead.
A full 40-minute assessment of your symptoms, history and cardiovascular risk, with a clear explanation and a plan. Follow-ups are 20 minutes, £190.
A recording of your heart’s rhythm and electrical activity, read by the consultant who saw you.
Ultrasound of the heart, ambulatory blood-pressure and prolonged rhythm monitoring, and tilt testing where they are needed.
What we treat.
Chest pain, palpitations, breathlessness, dizziness and blackouts — and the conditions behind them: coronary heart disease including angina, heart failure, atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, POTS and inherited cardiac conditions.

A new-patient consultation is £250 (40 minutes) and a follow-up is £190 (20 minutes). The fee for any test — ECG, echocardiogram or monitoring — is confirmed in writing before you go ahead.
